Lisa Corprew from Bayside High School in Virginia Beach, Va., is a student activities coordinator. She runs all extracurricular activities including athletics.
After 14 years of working as the student activities coordinator, Corprew received the award for State Athletic Administrator of the Year for the 2013-2014 school year.
Aside from her previous awards, Corprew received the Activities Coordinator of the Year Award from the Virginia Athletic Council on Nov. 6, 2014.
Corprew’s office reflects plenty of her school spirit. In addition to her current position as student activities coordinator, she also graduated from Bayside in 1990.
Throughout her time at Bayside, Corprew has seen many of her students reach the hall of fame as college athletes and even professional status.
Corprew is hands-on with her students throughout the day and makes sure she stays involved. She says the job is rewarding and that it’s an opportunity to give back to where she came from.
